1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CamBackup ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CamBackup provides a cloud-based camera recording and monitoring platform. The Service allows you to connect IP cameras, store footage in the cloud, view live streams, and receive alerts. Features and availability may vary by subscription plan.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Subscription and Billing

CamBackup operates on a per-camera, per-month subscription model. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not use CamBackup to:

• Monitor individuals without their knowledge or consent where required by law
• Record, store, or distribute footage in violation of applicable privacy laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of footage captured through your cameras. By using the Service, you grant CamBackup a limited license to store and process your footage solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from downtime, data loss, or service interruptions, except as required by applicable law.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your footage will be retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted, unless you request earlier deletion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CamBackup's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
